This Food Solution Area RFP will support faculty teams that seek to address key challenges in food system sustainability.

We’d like to announce the launch of a new Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability - Solution Areas Program Request for Proposals for Planning Grants to address key challenges in expanding access to potable water from both a quantity and/or quality perspective.

The Doerr Arts & Sustainability Fund offers support to academic staff or faculty-initiated interdisciplinary projects that test new directions and possibilities in the arts at Stanford.

This RFP launches two Integrative Projects that will explore ways in which data acquired with sensors - satellite, airborne, land/water-based - and the accompanying data analysis and modeling workflows, can support the adaptive management of planetary health and human activities.

This RFP invites research proposals that will advance equitable, sustainable, and resilient urban development.

Stanford Synthetic Biology for Sustainability Grant Program, supported by the Deans of the School of Medicine, the School of Engineering, and the Doerr School of Sustainability, funds research projects that aim to use synthetic biology to make life on Earth more sustainable, broadly defined.  

The sustainability accelerator aims to co-create and scale solutions for climate and sustainability challenges globally. This request for proposals is for solutions for greenhouse gas removal from the atmosphere.

Supporting fundamental, inquiry-based research for all topical areas within the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability community. 

Funding available is $150,000 for 2-year awards.
