Through theĀ Solution Areas Program, we aim to inspire and nurture transdisciplinary research collaborations organized around the theme of Food System Sustainability and dedicated to producing evidence, knowledge, and solutions meeting the needs of decision-makers, community members, and other actors to address sustainability challenges.
Strategic Focus
Efforts supported through this Request for Proposals (RFP) will build on collaborations across faculty and partners to implement Integrative Projects to address sustainability challenges in the food system. Projects may address any issue that is centered on food systems. Possible topics include, but are not limited to, climate-resilient food systems, the true cost of food, blue foods, food innovation ecosystems, and emissions reductions. Proposals addressing other timely and compelling issues in food systems are welcome and will be given full consideration.
