The Stanford Cardiovascular Institute mission is to ignite new research and clinical applications to improve cardiovascular health. We strive to promote the exchange of ideas and collaboration among students, fellows, faculty, and scientists. We strongly encourage proposals that emphasize interdisciplinary collaborations.
In keeping with this mission, the CVI is offering two calls for Seed Grant Proposals in October. We strongly encourage proposals that establish new interdisciplinary collaborations.
2021 Stanford CVI Seed Grant Competition: Maternal and Child Health Funded in part by the Maternal and Child Health Research Institute, these proposals will be specific for cardiovascular research in the areas of maternal and child health.
2021 Stanford CVI Seed Grant Competition: Sudden Cardiac Death funded by the Steven M. Gootter Foundation, this is in the area of cardiac arrhythmia and sudden cardiac death.

Eligibility: Stanford faculty and instructor members of CVI; Joint co-PI proposals are allowed
