Global Research Workshops

Stanford Global Studies (SGS) invites faculty and graduate students from schools, departments, and programs across Stanford University to submit proposals for Global Research Workshops.
Teams will be asked to organize 9 virtual workshops (ideally 3 per quarter) around a theme that is interdisciplinary and transregional in nature. Speakers may be from Stanford, and we also strongly encourage the inclusion of scholars from around the globe.
Each workshop will be offered via Zoom in AY23, and will be recorded and uploaded into an archive. Up to four grants will be awarded in AY23, and there will be an annual call for proposals.
