C-ShaRP Instrumentation & Enhancement Program, FY26
C-ShaRP welcomes collaborative proposals from PIs and Shared Facilities Staff for acquisitions and programs that may include equipment, thematic priorities, and any other user-experience enhancements of Stanford’s shared research facilities, encompassing experimental space in SOM, SOE, H&S, and SDSS.

Faculty and Shared Facilities staff may submit proposals. Collaborators are highly encouraged and should ideally span departments and Schools. At least one co-applicant should be a director or staff of the Shared Facility that benefits from the proposal.

The number and amount of awards are limited to the funds available. Proposals will be scored and prioritized by C-ShaRP reviewer committee. Funds can only be used to support the equipment, infrastructure, and/or staffing needs detailed in the proposal budget. Annual reports are required to track spending.
